St. Thomas’ College, Matara’s athletics team has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the runner-up position in the Matara Zonal Track and Field Athletics Tournament 2024. The tournament was held on July 26, 29, 30, and 31 at Kotwila Stadium.

Our athletes showcased their exceptional skills and determination, scoring 79 points, a significant improvement from last year’s 56 points, where we placed third.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated coaches, whose unwavering support and expertise have been instrumental in this success. Their commitment to nurturing and developing our athletes has truly paid off.
