The Senior Western Band
The Senior Western Band of St.Thomas’ College Matara Was founded On 10th February of 1991. Mr.Nalin Daminda was the first Band Leader of the western band. St.Thomas’ college senior western band grabed many achievements and the the most recently they won the 3rd place in 2019 All island music compitition, 3rd place in 2022 Provincial music compitition.Also they still one of the top school western band in down south. Mrs.Sarasi Alahakoon working as teacher-in-charge of the western band.Currently the western band with the 25 members lead by Thisaru Jayawickrama.
