We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of veteran actor, screenwriter, lyricist, and former Hon. President of the Institute of Sinhala Culture, Mr. W. Jayasiri. A proud alumnus of St. Thomas’ College, Matara, he leaves behind a rich legacy in Sri Lankan arts and culture. He was 77 years old at the time of his demise.
